Our Work with V.C.S.E.

Under One Sky  

Since our inception we have partnered with Under One Sky. They are a registered charity in London that is volunteer led, offering support and emergency supplies to the homeless community in Central London. Comprising of over 1000 volunteers Under One Sky are a wonderful organisation that has developed a way to connect with people when they are in extreme circumstances, getting them the help and support they need. Dignifi has offered voluntary time for training events and briefings and offered consultancy expertise during the pandemic.  

The Big Life Group  

Since September 2023, Dignifi has been partnered with The Big Life Group to support the development of trauma informed practice across hubs for men subject to probation across Greater Manchester. Dignifi will work with Big Life and the providers of well-being hubs in each of the 10 Local Authority areas to develop ways of working that will create safe spaces for men on probation to address a range of issues related to their well-being, including trauma. We have recently appointed 2 Dignifi staff members working out of the hubs, offering access to the Dignified Recovery Programme for the most traumatised people accessing the wellbeing hubs.

Achieve North-West Connect

Since July 2023, Dignifi has supported over 90 men on a prison wing specifically set up for substance abuse recovery. Funded by Achieve North-West Connect our Dignifi Recovery Programme has supported men on the wing to look at their experiences and how they impact on their daily functioning, substance abuse, feelings of overwhelm and emotional regulation, them whilst supporting them to learn new strategies to self-regulate. Working alongside achieve we have supported these men to move on into more sustainable ways of living post-release. More information can be found here (insert link to results page)
