Consultancy

Overview

Since 2021 we’ve worked with a number of organisations across sectors, consulting with their managers and leaders and training the workforce and multi-agency partners. We support organisations to develop service provision, policy and procedures to be more aware of trauma and thus become more responsive to needs of people who use services. We support the design and development of service delivery models that will enhance the way staff support and engage with service users.

Organisational Change

Dignifi has developed a Trauma-informed Organisational Change Handbook which is guided by the principles of Safety, Connection and Purpose – simplifying and demystifying a complex topic. The Handbook provides a wealth of clear and evidenced based information, toolkits and resources to enabling organisations to develop practice in complex and changing landscape.

As an organisation, Dignifi recognises that for change to happen, we also need to change systems that do not currently meet the needs of people using them. Workforces in people facing sectors are seeing increasing levels of need and reduced resources. Dignifi’s Trauma-informed Organisational Change Handbook will guide the journey for organisations’ working with us, towards the practical application of new ways of working that support the development of a more compassionate and regulated workforce who have the knowledge, and skills to practically apply new ways of working.

Dignifi’s model is fluid and adaptable depending on the team or organisation using it. Through our partnerships across the country, we have been able to test and learn the best ways to implement change in both larger organisations or consortiums and with smaller grass roots organisations. Using the voices of delegates on training and the people who use our servicers, we have created a model that will support with developing systems and processes that prevent re-traumatisation, whilst simultaneously supporting the development of workforce wellbeing models and a psychologically safe working culture.

Trauma-informed Practice Development Guides

We work with organisations through a period of consultation, to understand the needs and the challenges faced. The information we gather through this period of consultation, informs a roadmap that we will create for your organisation’s journey towards becoming trauma informed. Our practice development guides ensure organisations can take ownership of the journey and outline a range of bespoke recommendations for development and metrics that can be used to measure progress and change.  metrics by which to measure progress and change. Measuring the improvements made to individuals and whole workforces can be difficult, however this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do it. By recognising the impact that we are having we can add to the growing evidence base around what works and share best practice nationally and further afield.
