Supporting Organisations

Every organisation we work with gets the option of internal or external evaluation. We are committed to the ongoing quality assurance and monitoring the effectiveness of our work. Every organisation we work with is offered a range of different data options as part of their contract. A recent publication on our work with Greater Manchester Combined Authority highlighted the impact of one of our courses that had been designed bespoke.

Positive Relationships – Recovery from traumatic relationships

In January 2022, the Violence Reduction Unit commissioned Dignifi to design a bespoke training course that specifically explored the impacts of growing up around domestic violence. Dignifi worked with Lived Experience Consultants and Research Associates to design a bespoke course that covered the following modules;

  1. Developmental trauma

  2. Experiencing domestic abuse in childhood

  3. Long-term impact of domestic abuse upon children and young people

  4. Women and gendered dimensions to relationships

  5. Culture and cultural violence

  6. Supporting young people to disclose and understand their experiences of family violence

  7. Recovery from growing up in families experiencing abuse

  8. Resilience in the workplace

The response to the training was overwhelmingly positive.

  • 92% said the training had given them the skills to work with trauma more confidently.

  • 92% of attendees said the training had helped them to better understand the people they support.

  • 94% said they intended to share the training more widely in their workplace.

  • 94% of attendees reported a positive experience, with some saying it was the best training they had ever attended!
