Training Courses

Overview

We offer a range of training courses that are prewritten and have been delivered before to other organisations. These are detailed below. However, we also offer organisations the offer of a bespoke training course that will be designed and adapted to meet the issues you would like to address and/or place more emphasis on areas. Once we have a clear understanding of your training needs and the target audience, we will develop a learning and training offer that is the best fit in terms of cost, target audience and practice development.

Training and learning are made up of a range of inputs dependant on what your teams need. We can offer:

  • Face to face events (conferences, seminars, workshops)

  • Webinars and online training session for specific professional groups as well as multi-agency audiences

  • Web-tutorials/workshops to support discussion and reflective practice

  • Pre-recorded webcasts/video

  • E-learning courses and/or supporting your organisation to develop your own courses

  • System leader events and briefings

Our Courses

Trauma Informed Practice Training

We offer a range of training and support to help people understand the impact of trauma upon themselves and people who use services. Grounded in lived experience and over 25 years of supporting people with complex needs, our services promote a self-development approach to trauma recovery.

We work closely with delegates to develop their understanding of and compassion for people who have experienced trauma. We help them build more trusting relationships with people and intervene more effectively – whilst taking care of their own emotional well-being.
